Matt Murdock first wore this costume during the days when was simply just a young aspiring lawyer. He solely wore it when his young friend Dominique “Mickey” Moran had been kidnapped and taken to be sold to a child pornography ring. Matt quickly threw the costume together from common clothing, and quickly went in search of Mickey. His search was cobbled with many obstacles, including the police, henchman, and the Kingpin's enforcer, Larks. Matt ultimately fought through the obstacles and rescued his young friend. His costume was badly damaged, but he ultimately decided to stay in Hell’s Kitchen and protect it from the newfound threats. With this in mind he went on to create his first Daredevil costume.
