Synopsis Edit

Created by Drew Goddard. Starring Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Deborah Ann Woll. This Netflix Originals version of Daredevil is a reboot of the old comic book or the 2003 movie starring Ben Affleck. This series pretty much follows the general story of the original Daredevil with fresh actors and new plot lines. Matt Murdock is a lawyer by day but a vigilante super hero by night. The Daredevil was born due to a freak accident when he was a child. A truck hauling nuclear waste was in an accident and by a chance of fate young Matt lost his vision. As time went on Matt adapted and noticed his other senses had become enhanced. By the time Matt was an adult he could “see/sense” his surroundings better than any other man who could see using his eyes. Matt began to use these abilities to become the masked hero, The Daredevil. The Daredevil catches the criminals that the state and local governments can not bring to justice in Hell's Kitchen, New York. Daredevil has many enemies but his largest (physically and metaphorically speaking) is probably Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) AKA, The Kingpin. A ruthless mobster in New York.
